Sheffield is a rural, contributing primary school with a decile rating of 9. The roll is stable and has ranged from around 85 - 110 pupils over recent years. The Wombles are a group of locals who join together once every two months on a Saturday to pick up rubbish around the townships. All welcome. Bring a rubbish bag and wear protective gloves and suitable footwear. Look out for Womble rubbish outings published on the local Sheffield, Waddington & Springfield Canterbury, NZ Facebook page.
