From the busy streets of Paris to the beautiful landscapes of Central Otago, Lila Harris will discover that she can never truly escape her past...
When English-born magazine photographer Lila Harris inherits a half share in a vineyard in Central Otago, New Zealand, she travels from Paris to claim her inheritance and face memories of the past. There she meets Luc Valdes, the other shareholder, who has already formed an opinion of her and believes her to be an uncaring, selfish English woman, who wants to sell the property and leave with money in her pocket.
From the moment they meet sparks fly. Lila’s shocking resemblance to her aunt takes Luc by surprise but he’s not prepared to give up the vineyard he planted by hand without a fight. And Lila is not about to be pushed around by some rude Italian guy, no matter how good looking he is.
As Lila struggles with her attraction to Luc, a secret love story spanning more than 30 years comes to light and she is suddenly forced to confront the truth about the two women who featured so prominently in her life – her mother and her aunt… twins, Lily and Rose.
And when her past relationships catch up with her, Lila will discover that love comes in many forms but will she recognise true love when she finds it?
And can she find it in her heart to forgive Lily and Rose?

Meet the Author...
Fi Maddison has written two novels and is currently working on a third. Loving Lila is her first venture into the independent (indie) world of publishing.
She lives on a half-acre section in Canterbury, New Zealand, with her husband, Max, and her fur family - Amelie and Marlo.
Fi began writing as a horse-mad young tween after discovering 'A stable for Jill' by Ruby Ferguson. Her first pony stories were written in her father's old ledger books - sadly, these no longer exist. Her freelance writing career took off when she began working in various roles of writer, photographer and editor for newspapers and magazines, eventually owning and publishing a small community newspaper in Oxford for four years.
She still works for a local community newspaper - working from home and any spare time is devoted to writing her next novel, where she is often distracted by a cat purring at her keyboard and a dog snoring at her feet. Fi also enjoys spending time in her garden, hosting visitors at their B&B, running a community Little Free Library and pantry at her front gate, and walking or cycling with her husband.
